Johnny's fame and popularity spread beyond North America. (ABOVE) Harry Stanley's THE GEN, edited by the well-known author of multiple magical volumes Lewis Ganson, was a brilliant British magical periodical that alas is no more. It was launched just after WWII and ran for approximately 26 years. Digital copies, fortunately, are still available from lybrary.com.
